Meet Shawntae Young, the passionate and dedicated CEO of LovinYou Salon & Spa. As a licensed cosmetologist, eyelash and eyebrow artist, custom wig and closure maker, and hair loss specialist, Shawntae's love for the hair industry runs deep. Her journey to becoming a professional in the field was inspired by her personal experiences raising three girls, each with different hair textures. This hands-on experience, combined with formal education, led her to pursue her cosmetology license.

With four years of professional experience and a commitment to ongoing education, Shawntae has not only excelled in her career but has also successfully realized her dream of opening her own full service salon. She is dedicated to empowering women and believes strongly in taking a holistic approach to health and hair care. Her continuous education in holistic practices reflects her unwavering dedication to providing the best possible care for her clients.

Having undergone training as a hair loss specialist and now in training to be a trichologist, Shawntae is deeply invested in helping her clients build confidence and awareness around their hair health, enabling them to achieve their desired looks. Her certifications and training with industry leaders such as Xtreme Lashes, BrowCode, Marquetta Breslin, and Matrix Coloring, among others, attest to her commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and techniques.

With a heart for education, a passion for holistic care, and a drive to empower her clients, Shawntae is excited to share her expertise, knowledge, and techniques with the Southern Maryland community through LovinYou Salon & Spa.
